As you know, Justin.tv is broadcasted all over the world. One of our very first international broadcasters to join this social network was Charles (CC30), a friendly, easygoing guy who is the very first French broadcaster within the Justin.tv community; he joined this website March 2007 as a chatter.
In May 2007 Charles sent an email to Justin expressing his enthusiasm about this exciting concept in broadcasting and asked how he too could broadcast and whether his website would be interested in as CC30 calls it, a "French community". I guess so! June 2007 Charles received an email to join the beta test and in July he was verified as a beta tester for this newly developing site. Charles shortly thereafter received the beta code and began broadcasting on July 24, 2007 with the channel name, CC30TV. In December 2007 he launched a blog about Justin.tv with his close friend Maxime, (aka Maxime15) who is in fact the second French broadcaster on Justin.tv. Slowly Charles’s channel was growing and in February 2008, his channel was "Featured" as a top channel within the Justin.tv community.
In April 2008 Charles did his first LIVE mobile broadcast in France using 3G (similar to the EVDO here in the US) plus his cell phone network whereby he was traveling via car to visit a nearby city, Ales close to his hometown, Nimes.
Justin.tv was now growing by leaps and bounds and later on that same month Charles was accepted to begin translation of this website for the French community so that other French people could enjoy interacting with ease.
In May 2008, CC30 launched a Justin.tv blog about Lifecasting in France, called Lifecasting.fr where various articles are translated into French, about all different topics and anyone can contribute to this website if you send him or Maxime15 a message on the actual website. They are always welcome to new commentaries and feedback. In September 2008 this website became available in ten different languages to include: French, English, Arabic, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Danish, Turkish, Macedonian and soon to be implemented (in 2009) Dutch.
CC30 completed his one year of broadcasting on Justin.tv in July 2007 and is looking forward to an exciting second year on this fast growing network.
Outside of broadcasting, Charles is involved in currently attending school where he is studying literature with the hopes of going into the legal profession and also volunteers in his spare time ( when not on Justin.tv) with the French "Eclaireurs" aka "boy scouts", where he oversees recreational events and is also involved in summer camp, weekend getaways with other volunteers.
